The Stigma Damages app is now in production to chart the history and effects of the aluminium industry in West Limerick, guiding residents and visitors to the region to further community and environmental awareness. Using archival material, information on the local environment and the planning, regulation and licensing of the Aughinish site, a keen emphasis will be placed on the future transition of the Shannon Estuary and West Limerick landscape from heavy industry to a new, sustainable future for those who inhabit it.
